    The following beverage cartons/aseptic packaging should be placed in your recycling container loosely, with no plastic bags, string or twine: Milk Cartons Juice Cartons Juice Boxes Soup and Broth Packages Pudding Packages Liquid Egg Cartons Items NOT accepted for recycling: Straws, Plastic Wrappers, Small Juice Pouches (Capri-Sun) Special Instructions: Do not place recyclables in plastic bags.

    Special Instructions:

    • Do not place recyclables in plastic bags. Please do not bundle or tie with string or twine.
    • Please empty containers before recycling.
    • Squeeze juice boxes until empty and reuse or throw away straws.

    This system of packaging is used for food and drink products so that the contents are exposed to a minimal amount of air; such products are typically vacuum-packed. Because oxygen is the major contributor to spoilage in most foods, aseptic packaging can retain a product's freshness for several months, even years.
