Plastic hangers are made from many different types of plastic materials and are NOT recyclable in our RecycleOne program OR as a Bulky Rigid Plastic (they get tangled and caught in our baling equipment). They should be reused or disposed of with your regular garbage. Only plastic BOTTLES, CUPS & CONTAINERS can be placed in your curbside recycling bin (except for Styrofoam, prescription medicine bottles & motor oil bottles).

Metal hangers can be delivered to the Utica or Rome EcoDrops for recycling. Do not place hangers in your recycling container for curbside collection.
