Household Hazardous Waste Facility Closing For the Season on September 30, Reopens April 1

Some household products can be harmful to people and the environment when disposed of improperly.

This facility is designed to serve Oneida and Herkimer Counties’ residents and select businesses. There is no charge for residents to drop off Household Hazardous Waste. Household Hazardous Waste is accepted April 1st - September 30th.

Properly dispose of materials such as:

  • Driveway Sealer

  • Unusable Gasoline

  • Fertilizers

  • Anti-Freeze

  • Pool Chemicals

  • Pesticides/Insecticides

  • Paint Thinner

  • Oil-Based & Latex Paints and much more – free of charge!

This facility gives you the opportunity to safely recycle or dispose of any unused, unwanted, or outdated products. The following HHW materials are accepted!
