Tires (with & without rims) cannot be placed in your curbside recycling container. However, they CAN be delivered to the Authority's Utica and Rome EcoDrops for proper recycling year-round starting at $2.50 per tire.

Oil Filters cannot be placed in your curbside recycling container. However, they CAN be delivered to the Authority's Utica and Rome EcoDrops for proper recycling year-round, at no charge!

Propane Tanks cannot be placed in your curbside recycling container. These items need to be brought to an EcoDrop location and disposed of properly, at no charge!

Refrigerators/Appliances cannot be placed in your curbside recycling container. However, they CAN be delivered to the Authority's Utica and Rome EcoDrops for proper recycling year-round! Appliances (stoves, washers, dryers, etc. are accepted at no charge. Appliances with CFCs (freon) are accepted for a fee of $10 per item.

Used Motor Oil/Anti-Freeze cannot be placed in your curbside recycling container. These items need to be brought to an EcoDrop location and disposed of properly, at no charge!

Automobile Batteries cannot be placed in your curbside recycling container. However, they CAN be delivered to the Authority's Utica and Rome EcoDrops for proper recycling year-round, at no charge!
