Am I Recyclable? End Of Summer Items

Beach Towels and Blankets cannot be placed in your curbside recycling container. Always consider reuse or donation when possible.

Inflatables cannot be placed in your curbside recycling container and should be placed in your regular garbage for proper disposal. Always consider saving and reusing them for next year!

Shoes and Clothing cannot be placed in your curbside recycling container. The Authority DOES accept shoes and clothing for reuse and recycling at its Utica and Rome EcoDrops at no charge! 

Aluminum Frame Beach Chairs cannot be placed in your curbside recycling container. Always consider reuse or donation when possible. These items CAN also be brought to an EcoDrop location and be placed into the Scrap Metal container. Please remove the fabric before placing in the scrap metal container.

Helium Tanks cannot be placed in your curbside recycling container. However, they CAN be delivered to the Authority's Utica and Rome EcoDrops for proper recycling year-round, at no charge!

Life Jackets cannot be placed in your curbside recycling container. Always consider reuse or donation when possible. If not reusable, these items should be placed in your garbage.

Bulky Ridgid Plastics cannot be placed in your curbside recycling container. However, they CAN be delivered to the Authority's Utica and Rome EcoDrops for proper recycling year-round, at no charge!
