ONEIDA-HERKIMER SOLID WASTE AUTHORITY
REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS FOR LANDFILL GAS UTILIZATION AT ONEIDA-HERKIMER REGIONAL LANDFILL
Pursuant to New York State General Municipal Law, Section 120-w, the Oneida-Herkimer Solid Waste Authority (Authority) hereby gives notice of the following:
The Authority is requesting proposals from developers that are interested in utilizing all or a portion of collected landfill gas at the Authority’s Regional Landfill site, NYS Route 294, Ava, NY. The Request For Proposals (RFP) seeks to solicit technical, business and cost proposals from qualified firms who would potentially finance, design, permit, construct and operate a facility for the term of the project. This RFP is being issued by the Authority in accordance with the provisions of Section 120-w of the General Municipal Laws of New York State.
The Authority does not discriminate because of race, creed, color, national origin, sex, age, disability or marital status. All qualified respondents will be afforded equal opportunities without discrimination. Furthermore, the Authority invites certified Minority and Women-Owned Business Enterprises (M/WBE) participation in this RFP. Firms that are not M/WBEs responding to this RFP are strongly encouraged to consider partnering, or creating other similar joint venture arrangements, with certified M/WBEs and to give M/WBEs the opportunity to participate in responding to this RFP. Responses to the RFP are due to the Authority by 3:00 PM on April 25, 2022.
