City of Utica Storm Update June 22, 2025

City of Utica Storm Update – June 22
Early this morning, the City of Utica experienced severe weather that caused significant damage throughout the area. The Department of Public Works (DPW) Commissioner along with both DPW and Parks crews have been actively responding since 5:00 a.m., focusing on known hotspots and addressing storm damage.
Current Status:
DPW and Parks crews are working to clear roadways and remove storm debris in preparation for a more extensive cleanup operation, which will continue through Sunday and Monday as needed.
How to Report Storm-Related Issues:
Residents are encouraged to report any storm-related issues using one of the following methods:

Important Notes:
-The DPW and Parks crews will collect storm-related debris only if it is placed at the curb.
-Please do not place regular green waste or other materials at the curb at this time.
-Containerized green waste collection will continue as regularly scheduled this week but maybe delayed to prioritize storm cleanup efforts.
