This facility is a NYSDEC registered site and accepts oversized tree limbs and trunks, root balls, stumps and tailings from Authority compost operations. The facility is located on Tannery Road in Rome. If you have stumps to dispose of please call 339-1990 to make an appointment, (all loads must be weighed in at the Western Transfer Station before dumping). Tip fee for stumps is $15.00/ton in 2007.
