Clothing Drop-off

The Authority has a Salvation Army Drop Off Box at the Residential Convenience Stations in Utica and Rome for the delivery of used clothing. The Salvation Army sells the items collected to help fund Adult Rehabilitation programs and for those in need.

The First Presbyterian Church located at 1605 Genesee Street, Utica, NY accepts clothing donations for those in need. Donations are accepted at the church every Wednesday morning.

Salvation Army Thrift Stores also accept clothing donations. When donating clothes and household items at a staffed location, you will be immediately provided with a tax receipt of your donation for your records. Locations are listed below.
