Sealed bids, subject to the conditions contained herein, will be received by the CLERK of the Village of Ilion until 1:00 P.M., Thursday, November 2, 2017, and then publicly opened and read for:

COLLECTION & HAUL OF SOLID WASTE AND SINGLE STREAM RECYCLABLES (VILLAGE OF ILION)

Specifications may be obtained at Village of Ilion, Municipal Building, Attn: Chelsey Lawson, Village Clerk, 49 Morgan Street, Ilion, NY 13357.

A mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Wednesday, October 18, 2017, at the Village of Ilion, Municipal Building, Office of the Clerk, 49 Morgan Street, Ilion, NY 13357.

A deposit in the amount of 5% of the maximum amount of bid(s) submitted that the bidder could be awarded if successful.  This deposit shall consist of a bid bond or a certified check payable to the Village of Ilion. Failure to submit bid bond or certified check will result in automatic disqualification of bid.

Bids must be submitted upon the proposal form(s) furnished, and must not be detached from the specification book.

Packages containing bids must be sealed and marked:

"Collection & Haul of Solid Waste and Single Stream Recyclables (Village of Ilion)

and addressed to Village of Ilion, Municipal Building, Attn: Chelsey Lawson, Village Clerk, 49 Morgan Street, Ilion, NY 13357.

The Village reserves the right to revise or amend the specifications prior to the date set for the opening of the bids. Such revisions and amendments, if any, will be announced by Addenda to this advertisement. The Village reserves the right to reject all bids received.
