Industrial Waste

Certain industrial waste can be delivered to the transfer stations. The facilities receive municipal solid waste, industrial/commercial waste and construction and demolition debris (C&D) from Oneida and Herkimer Counties.

To insure compliance with regulations, all industries are inventoried; special waste is profiled, reviewed and approved prior to disposal. Authority staff continuously identifies and visits manufacturers in Oneida and Herkimer Counties.
