Waste Exchange Program

The Waste Exchange Program establishes an exchange of valuable information between generators and potential users of industrial and commercial wastes, whereby a beneficial use rather than disposal is the end result. This service identifies both the producers and potential markets for by-products, surpluses, unspent materials and other forms of solid waste that is no longer needed. If on-site recycling is not an option, the next best alternative may be to offer the waste to another company by the Waste Exchange Program. For example; clean five gallon plastic pails that are a waste for one company may be used as recycling containers for an office complex.

We would like to announce a new recycling opportunity and our partnership with MAT-EX Materials Exchange Program. The MAT-EX Materials Exchange and Reuse Program involve more that 20,00 businesses in Central and Western New York. This on-line listing service of wanted or available materials can be reached by filling out the form below or can be reached at www.MAT-EX.org. For more information please feel free to contact the office online at ohswa@ohswa.org.

Complete the form below and submit it to be part of the Waste Exchange Program.
